Stack & Whack Pillows

These small wall hangings were packed away... Why not make pillows?

Made two twin size quilts using hand dyed fabrics in the background.

Stack & Whack Blocks-Quilt

Had so much fun making this, I made two twin size quilts! The background is hand dyed blue, sashed with black borders and binding. Used the left overs on the back.

Another Baby Quilt Top

After I've collected a stash of happy fabrics, I'll mix them all together and make a batch of tops.
Made 3 baby quilt tops with enough fabric left over to make a roomy twin.

Baby Quilt - block measurements

Block 1
Strip 1 3 1/2 X 9 1/2
Strip 2 3 1/2 X 6 1/2
Square 6 1/2 X 6 1/2

Block 2
Strip 1 3 1/2 X 6 1/2. Cut 2
Strip 2 3 1/2 X 9 1/2
Square 3 1/2 X 3 1/2. Cut 2

Block 3
Strip 1 3 1/2 X 6 1/2. Cut 2
Square 3 1/2 X 3 1/2
Square 6 1/2 X 6 1/2

Assembly: 4 blocks across and 5 blocks down. Finish with 2" borders.
Approximately 36 X 44 1/2

Using any combination, the blocks fit together nicely and provide an interesting pattern.
Take time to fussy cut the motifs.

My disclaimer: Can't remember where this pattern came from. I lost the directions a long time ago.

Baby Quilts

These baby quilts are super easy to make. A mix of squares and rectangles using fat quarters. Collecting fabric and then throwing it together makes the mix interesting.

Way too comfortable to move... Guess I'll keep surfing the net

A few stars

To start the creative flow. It's Sunday and I've got the day to myself. Too cold for a walk, too lazy for the gym...maybe a nice soup and a low fire. (Quilt- Evening Star- all in flannels)
